Our fees are very simple. We charge a flat fee of $5.00 per listing to list and manage your auction whether or not the item sells, and we will cover the basic eBay listing fees on "no-reserve" items. If you desire any special promotional features, such as highlighting or bold print, etc., you will be responsible for the additional charges at the time of listing. If your item sells, we will deduct any selling related fees which have accrued, such as eBay final value fees, PayPal fees, taxes, etc., and a 35% commission. You do not pay a commission if the item doesn’t sell.
Items may be listed on eBay in various ways to be determined on agreement between the Trading Assistant and the Seller:
An Auction Bid starts at a low price and runs for seven days and may be relisted one time. The downside to this Auction is that the item might only sell at the starting bid price, but might attract a number of bidders.
The Buy It Now option is a Fixed Price Auction. The buyer has to pay that price. Also with the Buy It Now option the seller can use the best offer where a lower price can be set at one level and also set to a minimum offer accepted. But It Now option can run up to 30 days depending on the discretion of the seller.
The Reserve Price option is where the auction starts at a low price but the seller has fixed a price that must be met before the items sells. There is an extra charge associated with type of auction.
A short listing agreement must be completed and signed before we list your items This agreement is for the sole purpose of preventing any misunderstandings, and protecting both of our interests.
Due to the fact that eBay holds the Trading Assistant ultimately responsible for any and all auctions listed, all items must be in our possession before listing, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, so that we may verify each item's description, and ensure that the item is shipped in a timely manner upon the auction's successful completion.
Upon successful completion of an auction, we will deduct the eBay final value fees and any other selling related fees which have accrued (taxes, Paypal, etc.). We will also deduct a commission of 35% of the final selling price. We will then issue you a check for the remaining amount within 14 days. Also payment may be made directly to your PayPal account if you so decide.
If your item does not sell, we may elect to re-list the item one time, at our discretion. If your item does not sell the second time, you will be notified within 1 week of the auction's close. Any unsold items that are not picked up within 14 days of that notification become the property of opus2intl, and may be disposed of at our discretion.
